VT EXECUTIVE
Hi,

Just wondering if you can use a later ECU out of say a VYss in a Vt S2 5.7L. (both 6 speed manual cars)

First of all will it work?

Secondly would there be any benefit to this as the later cars seem to be rated higher eg 250kw vs 220 kw for the VT.

Is there any security features in the ECU that have to be sorted to swap computers between different cars?

Thanks for any info.

Why dont you just have your car tuned? That way you can have even more output, it will run better and be safer :)

the tune would need to have the injector constant changed to suit (or change to VX type injectors) & security linked to the car but basically yes the VY tune will run nicely in the VT, if you change the injectors.
