Some may remember my VE SSV, well that's gone and I take delivery of my redline on the 16th November - can't wait.

After saying I wouldn't get black again... I went and got black again - I just couldn't resist!

Hey Luke, I'm like a broken record in these forums but sick of waiting for my redline and feel like I'm getting the runaround from my dealer.

When did you order yours and is delivery confirmed for the 16th, how long does it take the dealer to do their detailing usually?

Pick up next Saturday. Even had the delivery date written into the contract.

Delivery date written, you'll be fine.

Well done, it's only taken me 12wks by next Friday which is now pickup.

Victoria. Exactly, why so long, some others were also 12wks but most 8wks, think my order was during a very busy Redline purchase period. And Holden reportedly had issues with black rims, mine is a Nitrate, so possibly that was a factor. Either way, I'll never wait that long again and I can only hope the redline was worth the wait.
That excited feeling when about to take delivery of a new car has been lost in the wait, now it's just give me my car already.

A mate has just tried to get the new AMG A45 which is an absolute cracker, in the 12s 1/4mile, amazing economy and good $$$ for AMG, the wait is June 2014, wow!!!

Car has arrived at the dealer

All set to pick it up Saturday - although a slight issue with the spoiler so it will have a boot lip to start while they get a new boot with spoiler to switch.
