VB Commodore chassis number

Front/back, left or right? Gives me another spot to look

Dunno. Just a suggestive long shot thought with no knowledgeable basis. Wondering if they had it stamped on the drivers floor like current models.

Look around radiator support where spot welds supposed to be you'll usually spot damage or welds to know it's been changed.

The chassis number in VB's are in one spot, just below the the bonnet holding rod thingo, next to ADR plate. If no number, its had that top radiator support panel replaced

Last of the vh models numbers went to strut towers.Cousin's immaculate vh that he bough late 90's had them there which was a surprise to us.

vk it was standard issue.

My VC one is just above the right hand side compliance plate.....

It is looking very much like a replacement rad panel, which is a pita....

Got a VH here and it's on the left hand strut tower, which is why I actually checked there....Not sure when it was built, but can find out...

VB probably been pranged & repaired so don't sweat it.


Not sure when holden started putting vin number on driver's floorpan...never noticed it when had vt 5.0 however easily noticed it on vy sv8.
