VC SL shadow tone

Can someone shed some info on the shadow tone VC SL's.
It's a 227 pack. I know wot the pack contains. This was also optioned with a Eurovox am/fm tape player and both rear speakers. How rare is the shadow tone SL's. I'm thinking they were dealer optioned with this paint combo?

Hi Mick,

I believe it may be a dealer paint option. A real quick way to see if it was a factory option would be to look at the body plate where the paint code is and see if anything is in the paint code for "Top".

For info the 227 Pack is a :VC SL 3.3 LITRE AUTO 14" STEEL WHEELS, RECLINING BUCKET SEATS, FUEL TANK LOCKING CAP,
STEREO RADIO CASETTE, REAR SEAT SPEAKER.

Cause it doesn't have option V6Q, its not a factory shadow tone paint. Dealer paint most likely, to boost sales.
