VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
If it’s anything like previous models it’s held in with four nuts underneath the car in the trans tunnel.

There are those 4 bolts but I’m wondering how to get the the linked bolts and if I need to drop the box to get it out?

I get the car up on ramps. You have to come from underneath car.
I can get to mine, by using a 1/4" extension drive with a universal & 10 mm socket. But mine is auto.
Hope this helps.

Those 4 bolts you are pointing to, are not the bolts that you want.
