I went to a mate place today and told him about the last time we picked up a heap of boxes and put them in the back of the ute.
I told him it was a real pain because the tonneau cover had to be folded to one side.
On my other utes I just threw it on and over the roof.
But the the VE ute it has got this antena there and I knew if I tried that I would have broken it.

So I was wondering is there a way that I could get one of those shark fin antena's on the roof instead of this big one.
I think its possible but I would rather ask some of the better minds here who might know a lot more about this.
I think you all in advance.

Thank you so much it is exactly what I am after.
I am not really to concerned over the radio not working so well as I play CD's most of the time.
But I am sure even if I have just got the radio on it will be when I am stopped and waiting for the wife.
So I will set the wheels in motion with the wife as she tries to run it a little tight at times.
But if I tell her how I have got it here she will say go for it.
I might give Supercheap Auto or Autobarn a look in before buying on ebay this way I will have it right away.
The plus side it that I think it will look much neater to.

At least us blokes don't consider looks over functionality when it comes to our girlfriends and wives.
