Ve auto shift light

Hi I was wondering if any one has any info on how to get into auto shift light ,I am not sure what you have to take off and if it is very hard ,I want to do it with out any damage . I am thinking it must be a bulb all the rest of the lights are working and what is the bulb number . Thanks komet

Remove the auto shifter surround by pulling up gently, then remove the main surround by unscrewing it, under that there should be a very small globe about the size of your finger nail which can be purchased from autobarn/super cheap auto etc.

Frequently find that the globe is NOT blown just poor contacts. Wriggling it around in the plug sometimes gets them working again. Check before you buy a replacement.

I had mine intermittently working and it required the entire centre console removed and the control board swapped. Thankfully covered under warranty.
