Ve Berlina ssv Exhaust

Hi Guys First post. I have put a ssv Exhaust on my ve berlina aswell as the ssv rear cans.

Why does it drone inside the cabin and also seems a bit loud ?????

Because you have fitted a V8 system on a V6....

Hi Mate, yeah i understand that. but i thought the ss exhaust was the same as the sv6. ?????. just diff rear cans

The rear cans would be the ones that do all the silencing, the front one is just a big resonator.

Cool so if i chase up some sv6 Rear Mufflers it should stop the drone and quiten it up a bit.

I have only done this for the quad pipe look. i had a ssv in impulse blue and the quads just looked so nice cheers

Try grabbing a set of SS rear mufflers from an AFM V8 where the quad tips are formed by a y pipe from a single exit. They'll be quieter. Also check all the exhaust gaskets for leaks. Could be causing some of the drone.

I have the AFM rear cans on my sv6, my main objective like yourself was to get the quad tip appeal other factors including louder noise or any sort of power gain wasn't much of a priority for me. I have only installed them today, only things I can point out is there only a tad louder and the throttle seems a tad responsive. All in all there's no real difference between my old sv6 tips to the AFM quad tips.

Hey Berlin ve my friend did the same as u but on an omega doesn't have any drone and its pretty quiet. Maybe check the gaskets and everything is connected properly
