As RJK said, at 177000km you need a set of new gas struts if they are still the original set. Buy a decent brand to make the job worth doing and they will last you another 6 or 7 years. KYB and Boge are good.
Your old ones would be so flogged out it must feel like it's riding on the springs.
Yeah at the moment it’s not dangerously bad or that horrible. The quality isn’t the best but it’s good enough to not worry to much at the moment. Like I mentioned next service or if it gets worse I’ll lOk at getting the struts or other parts replaced. Thanks for the suggestions for replacements

2011 - 2012 Berlina came out with 17" wheels that were virtually identical to 18" Calais wheels. I swapped out my 18's for 17" Berlina wheels and could barely tell the difference in appearance, but the extra sidewall gave a bit more comfort and durability on country roads.
