VE Centre speaker wiring for sub?

As the titles says, would the speaker wires for the center speaker in a VE be suitable to run to an amp to power a sub in the boot? The amp has line inputs.

I am not looking for extreme sound performance, just upgraded split / door speakers, an amp for the door speakers and the sub / amp in the boot.
