VE series 1 alloytec. It has had a on/off toggle switch fitted in the console underneath the climate control dials it only does full ac blower power or nothing. The temperature dial works and the hvac dial works. I initially thought a resistor needs replacing but Im hoping someone might be able to shed some light on why this on/off toggle switch has been installed. Could it be a bigger issue than a blower resistor like a new stereo and ac box. I have heard dealer BCM reprogram mentioned with having to replace a stereo unit/Ac box ie blown module. Nobody’s looked at it yet. I have basic diagnostic skills a multimeter/power probe n Id like to repair it if I can but i better not if it cud cost 100s n parts n dealer costs to fix it. The previous owner said the switch was already done wen he brought it. Appreciate it if somebody in this forum has some experience in this field
