ve commodore brake light not working

i just put in some ve ss taillights into my omega commodore and the right hand side break light dosent work when i push on the breaks, but when i turn the key twice which turns on all lights, the light works. so the light works but when i push the breaks in only the left hand side brake light works.
hopefully that made sense but any help would be much appreciated, cheers.

yeah when you turn the key twice it turns on the ignition and all the lights and the break lights are automaticlly on

Go through fuses with a multimeter check for blown fuses.

Bad connection on globe holder or you blew out the brake (break ) light filament….

just change the globe

the left brake light is working, fuse should be ok…

Also make sure that the brake light has the correct type of globe….

i think you are confusing park light filament with brake light filament
most likely needs a new globe
