Hi all,

Hope you can help me or at least point me in the right direction.
I bought a second hand VE series 2 Thunder Ute and absolutely love it ( updated from a VZ)

Anyway a few months on from buying from the 2nd hand dealer ( of course out of any warranty ) the A/C no longer works - When I bought the ute, the A/C worked a treat and had been re-gassed when I bought it -
Then almost overnight I find that now the A/C has stopped working.
I can select the " snowflake " button on the dash and nothing happens - This I have tried on on every fan or air position setting and still nothing
The Fan is working fine with heating and air direction selections moveable.

I've done the reset (with the rear-demist button procedure) of the actuators and I can control the direction of air flow - So I'm pretty sure none of the actuators are faulty which looking at other feeds can sometimes be the case of the A/c not working.
All fuses seem to be Ok also...

So I'm now a bit lost for where to next. - Do I need to pull the dash off and check visually all actuators are working correctly or do I need to see an A/C specialist now that Holden dealers near me are no longer existent? OR Is there a fuse I haven't found...

Hoping someone has a suggestion or two of what to do or who to see

Many thanks in advance....

Few weeks ago my ute was pumping out freezing air and the next day was just outside temp, thought needed a regas and took it for one , the guys said i had a common crack in the air lines. seems its a fairly common problem have a pic to show is about $360 plus fitting but you will be happy air working again if this is the problem part

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
There’s a leak somewhere. It was recently regassed so a dye will have been used so the leak should be easy to find with a UV light. Hoses will be the number one suspect. However as Lout said, off the the Sutosparky to get the AC looked at.
There are also mobile AC specialists.
