Does any1 know ,which is the proper coolant cap for LW2 Dual fuel engine?

120psi or 140psi.

Getting different ones from Repco,Bursons and Autobarn.

Cheers
Only place to buy decent coolant pressure caps for the Alloytec is Holden a dealership. The others don't hold pressure! That way to they will give you the correct pressure rating too.

When I cammed my ve ss I had a **** time trying to bleed it ended up doing it through the radiator hoses but v6 no doubt different
The VE V6 has a little rubber hose on the front of the radiator right up the top. It's about a 6mm hose. Use pliers to squeeze the spring clip and slide the hose off to bleed the air out then slide the hose back on when there's solid coolant spraying out. Run the heater for a while first.

No need,there is a revised cap, $17.65

Will still need the VIN / Reg - recently purchased a cap for a VE V6 and was informed there were 2 available - only clarified with the VIN

Had trouble with mine today, replaced the water pump, balancer, pulleys and intake, put it all back together and filled the coolant up through the cap up top, took forever to get rid of the bubbles, took it for a drive and it overheated, like wtf? Got home and took the cap off and it fell apart, had to dig bits out of the housing, hoping that after I replace the cap it will sort itself out but bloody hell there should be an air bleeder surely to Christ....

All the models that need a bleader have a bleeder. Which engine have you got?
