VE dash protector sticky pads. Need ideas...

Just wondering if anyone has better ideas to remove the sticky pad glue/adhesive that is used to glue a dashboard protector mat to the dashboard.

there are only 2 areas which i need sorted.

Tried metho, few times. has a tiny effect at removing glue/adhesive.

and no I wont fix it by putting the dash protector mat back on haha.

Try eucalyptus oil mate.. Works awesome with a bit on a cloth to break down adhesives..

Don't try nail polish remover.

LYNX aerosol deodorant is also a very good solvent. That stuff can remove anything.

Just get a bottle of that adhesive remover stuff...they sell it in art shops. That'll do the trick

this stuff works a treat, i use it to remove rego sticker residue off the windscreen etc.. its probably the safest too,can be got at bunnings etc..

oh wow heaps of ideas! I'll start from the top and work my way down. Hopefully it wont destroy the trim. Thanks guys let you know how i go! trying the eucalyptus oil today!
