VE DVD Player Install

Installed my DVD player today,I bought this one D0009 Eonon Half DIN IN Dash CAR CD USB MP3 DVD Player SDHC N8 | eBay a lot like the one JHP sell but much cheaper.
Had VIM done by Salute_the_ute(Nathan) and bought the connectors off JHP.

Firstly I installed the JHP connectors and then the supplied RCA's and ran them through the front of the console,behind the kick panels and up the back of the glove box.



There are holes in the bottom of the glove box and at the back of the shelf,I did have to make the hole in the shelf a little larger to get the RCA's through


Then I ran the power and earth wires back down the same hole and too the fuse box in the passenger footwell.
Connected them with piggyback fuse holders from Jcar.

Then connect the RCA's to the back of the unit and also the remote IR receiver and run the receiver wire to where ever you are going to mount it,I mounted mine under the HVAC controls next to the ash tray.


Then mount the unit.

im considering doing something similiar to this at some point, how do you switch between inputs? IE the HoldenIQ system and the dvd players inputs. cheers

The reverse camera input is auto switching when you select reverse,all the other inputs are selected via the fascia buttons.

I know this is a old thread but ill try anyways. What sort of jhp connectors did you purchase mate for the rca's? As im doing the same thing installing a dvd player
