Has anyone ever pulled apart a flip key for any reason? Mine is awfully loose and i dont want to butcher it. I also have one from my written off car that i would like to use the buttons and housing from.

too bad they don't sell them here ...

I wouldn't mind having the flip key, the normal one is a bit long

the flip key head just clips in where the fixed key head clips out you can get them of ebay for 90 odd bucks then you need to get them cut and programmed after that probly another $50-60
