has anyone else had this happen and also whats the cheapest way of getting a new key?

also can just replace the rubber


sorry if this has been posted before i had a search and couldnt find anything like the rubber deteriorating

thanks yeah i have no clue what hapened to the photo

any idea why this happens? i have only done 50k klms and i never leave the key in the sun or whatever

Even better. I might grab a couple of spare ones if they're that cheap directly from the dealer.

Too bad the parts guys at the closest dealers to me don't seem to know their asses from their elbows.

Hahahaha, yeah. Next time I give them a part number, and tell them what it is, and then get just a blank stare in return, I'll probably mumble under my breath "just hurry up and lick your bloody elbow, moron..."

I might actually say it out loud if they order me another wrong part. So far, for three orders, two of them have been wrong, even after I told them they were ordering the wrong parts.

I really miss my old dealership. The parts interpreters there were absolutely bloody wonderful in comparison.
