I bent mine changing lanes coming home from work tonight.

How much should I expect to buy one from a wrecker for and how much should I expect to pay to get it repainted.

how much would a new one cost to buy and get painted.

How much has anyone paid a panel shop to get, paint and fit a new or second hand Left Hand fender.

How do I get the bent one off?

Are they hard to get off.

Sorry about all the questions but I have to pay the first $500 of a claim so a lot to think about.

Any info greatly appreciated, thanks

You can find new aftermarket guards on ebay for $66 (no kidding). Paint would definitely be less than $434 at a local panel beater so you don't have to claim anything.

Removing the guard is probably just a matter of removing the mud guard on the inside (retained by clips) and then undo any visible bolt under the hood, behind the door hinges (not even sure there are some here) and the 2 ones connecting the guard to the front bumper.

PS: there's no such thing as ecotec VEs ;-)
