Hey everyone, I’ve just had the brakes done on my ve omega, I had the front rotors replaced, new pads all round and had the rear rotors machined, the brand of the new rotors and pads is rda, has anyone here used this brand before

Yes I have used them. They've been around for twenty something years.

I have rda rotors on my vh. i have had no problem with them. I have dba rotors on my ve, they are
a better rotor but a lot more expensive. If you want to stop quicker get ceramic pads. They are
dearer but far superior for wear and stopping.

Hi keith,
I`ve got dba slotted rotors.
Do the ceramic pads wear faster?
And where did you get them?

They should last a lot longer than the standard pad with the added bonus of being
a very clean pad. It's been a while since i got them so I am not 100% sure but I
think I got them from Brakes direct. I definitely got the dba rotors from them.

No reason why not, nothing wrong with machined rotors provided they are machinable.

What ceramic pads did you go with?

I have a new set of DBA 4000 T3s and still deciding which pad to go with. The Brake Dust on the stock pads were horrible. So been thinking about going Ceramic.

The brake pads I have are Forza. I had to take a wheel off as I couldn't remember their name. They have been on the car since about February of last year. I have done about 13,000 since then, they show very little wear and are a very clean pad. I would recommend them to anyone.
I'm not sure of where I got them from but it was most probably Brakes Direct.
