Hi everyone

I have a 2012 Ve sv6 and today the rear driver's side door locking actuator mechanism has buggered up and door won't close, Iam needing assistance on how to best remove it, I've pulled the door trim etc off and the 3 bolts and plug that hold it in but can't work out how to remove the rod from the handle and do I need to remove the window rail?? If anyone could plz help would greatly be appreciated, thanku

Hard to explain in words you basically rotate the unit and it comes of the hook that goes to the door handle.
Videos on youtube explain it better than I can :D

Thankyou for your reply, I've watched this video but the rear door is a bit different in shape and there's no room to rotate it as it hits the arch of the door and the window rail, theres not alot of room compared to the front door and I can't seem to find anything on YouTube or google with the removal of the actuator from the rear door.

Sorry only done the fronts on VE's myself and never had one fail in the rear although I imagine it will happen next week now that I have mentioned it :D

Haha oh ok, yes well iam thinking I'll have to take the window and rail out I don't see any other option then I'll be able to rotate it more easily, not to sure how to take the window out though hopefully it's not to hard
