VE Series 1 Park brake reminder or key lock mechanism?

Hi all,

Does the VE Series 1 Calais have any type of lock mechanism on the ignition key which inhibits removing the key if the car is not on Park or park brake enabled? I am curious, as i've accidentally left the car in D and no park brake and its rolled a bit. Luckily less than a meter.

Also, is there any way to enable some type of park brake reminder if the car is off and park brake hasn't been enabled?

No and no. Only solution I could picture is for you to wire up some kind of switch that sits behind the park brake and something that buzzes like those old headlight alarms.
