hey guys would a VE SERIES 2 HEADUNIT IQ FIT INTO A NON SERIES 2 ? AND WOULD VE SERIES 2 SEATS FIT IN A NON SERIES 2?
please no smart comments just need help thanks to those that will help

IQ wont fit. Or atleast, not cheaply. Tell your dad he'll have to do without. Seats will though.

Ohm that sucks I don't know if it's worth paying $700 for series 2 cloth seats and the iq this guy said I would have to have the icc or something then change the controls in the steering wheel?
Also if I just buy a SSV screen for series 1 Is It straight plug in?

Plug in? Yes.

Functional without the knowledge and tools to program the head unit and modify your HVAC module yourself, or paying someone else to do so? Absolutely not.

If you're just talking about the front panel that has the screen and controls, no you can't just slap that on the front of your existing HU...you'll have to source a SS-V head unit (the metal box that sits behind the front panel) as well.

The actual head unit with the front panel? As ms_enj said, it certainly can be done, so long as you get it programmed to work with your car.
