VE series II SS Sedan 'blackie'

Bought a brand new series II SS in manual two weeks ago,

so far it has:

HSV rear spoiler
G8 rear diffuser
HSV GTS wheels powdercoated satin black
SSV tail lights
Badges (lion & V8) and calipers painted black
Indicators tinted
King springs SL front, SSL rear
Monroe GT Sport shocks/struts all round
QFM A1RM pads all round with TRW GP600 fluid
Hurricane exhaust (1 7/8 headers, hi flow cats, 2.5" catback)
HSV Steering wheel & gearstick


It goes and sounds amazing! Cant wait to get her on a track!

The car is almost finished, the only plans I have now are for OTR & tune, and possibly 3.7 diff, I will wait for her to bed in first

+1 on windows. Looks very sharp. I really like the black GTS wheels.

Is it just me, or has the dealership also fitted, as an extra, an abundance of buffer trails in the paintwork? (last picture) or are they just odd reflections?

I gave her a wax last night and it was dark, couldnt see great when buffing the wax off, itll be gone next wash

It actually has tint!
Remember that these photos were taken on an extremely sunny day in full sun, normally it looks fine! the photos dont do it justice

The difference on the road is great, so much more torque and throttle response!

I don't think my rear tyres are very happy with the upgrade however
