Hey there

Had this problem for about 2 weeks now and it is very very frustrating

I know to start the manual to push in the clutch pedal and it will start, at first it was every second pop of the ignition and now it takes about 5-6 tries to start and even then it still half starts until it fires and idles

Wondering if there is a fix for this without going to holden as we know how expensive they can be

And I prefer not to connect the wires to start without clutch

Thanks in advance

is it turning over but not starting...? or just not doing anything...? if its turning over then the switch is fine and u have other issues but if it just does nothing then id check the switch by imitating the clutch in circuit to see if it fixes it then might just need a new switch...

It turns over but it just stops trying to start

From memory I think the series 1 had a fault with the clutch switch and didn't start

May have to try get a new switch

Thanks 07gts

if the switch is faulty it won't even try to start at all, i have read other info on here about them being hard to start and just keeps turning over might be a different issue...

got my car towed to holden berwick and they went over her

turns out my battery wasn't charging properly cause there was a problem internally
and the starter motor had decided to give up swell

$935 later, she's back at home

what was gold plated that they put in, oh holden dealer, my genuine starter was only $280, $180 for battery, only takes 5 mins to put in battery and 1 hr for starter (with jack not hoist) testing should have only taken 10mins
