VE SS Ute
Hi,
Just bought a VE SS ute with L98 motor and 6L80E auto trans.
Any members running this combination and have you broken any parts in the driveline (except Transmission)
What broke?
What did you do to fix it or upgrade with what pieces?
Regards
Rob

VE SSV Z SERIES
The LSD in the diff is the weak link. Standard are pretty average at best.
Most will put a Harrop TrueTrac in and all is good.

The clutch in the ZF wears out and causes the spider gears to shift. Once that occurs the centre gets trashed. You can prolong the life of the centre by servicing the diff regularly. The clutch fibres get through the diff and cause problems.

Thanks everyone. Anyone have tailshaft problems?
I don't believe these are too common on the VE just yet. Earlier models certainly.
