VE SS Oil Question

Looking at changing the oil in a 2009 VE SS...Lots of threads on here but lots of different opinions...Is Castrol Edge 10W-30 Fully Synthetic ok to use or not

If manual yes. Not in summer.

Hi Monstar Yes its manual...Should i be looking at a thicker oil? as you say not in summer..It would be nice to use the same type of oil all year round

Yes 0-5w is basically for US and cooler climes and dynamic fuel management, 10w good otherwise. 5w30 weight is stock, your car is getting near a decade old, 10w40 is a good thing year round.
