went out and bought a new sump gasket $90 . its just a piece of alluminum with a shitty thin piece of rubber seal ? checked it again its definitely seeping out of the gasket sump flange all around its not leaking major . i gave the engine a wash at the car wash and all under there and its not dripping anymore ? but yeah after a drive and check can see the sump flange with oil seeping through , im hoping its just the bolts that need a re tightening , how can the sump gasket just give out like this , shouldnt happen on such a young car its only an 06 . so looks like the engine mount nuts need to be taken off and then the motor can be gently jacked up to undo the front sump bolts ?
