Yeah you don’t NEED to get them, just depends on the look you are after, I prefer mine without the infill panels

Thanks for the responses.
Another question is whether I want Maf or Mafless?
Also am I needing to get a tune if I fit this?

Maf in is ur best bet if you go mafless u most definitely need a tune as it does away with the air flow sensor and operates only on the map (manifold absolute pressure) sensor readings instead of both maf and map, mafless has a slight advantage overall horsepower wise although it also has the downfall of loosing the computers self learning abilities with fuel trims etc, as for needing a tune with your vcm otr it would be beneficial but possibly not 100% necessary
