Im having trouble fitting up VE SSV wheels to my brothers vs, he has had them drilled to fit onto the hub but the top of the wheel is now colliding with the strut.
How do i get around this?

Are you that keen on putting them on, are they a freebie from your bro. I could only imagine spacers being required, preferrably ones that bolt on to the hub as I'm sure the others are illegal. Wheels are cheap enough these days with thousands of combo's, do an interest free from Bob Jane or something and pay them off a bit at a time and get something you really like.

Rim or tyre touching? If its the tyre what size are they. The correct size for VR/VS is 235/35/19.

being an exec its live axle, do you have a adjustable panhard rod? check fitment on the other side and see if there is room, if so the panhard rod should fix this.

94 csi lexcen VR v6,
Ive had problems time after time with 19s and 20ies.

Coilovers will fix this if not Ebay sell's front struts that are made to suit larger rims 20"ect

Hope this helps

You might need a lower profile tyre… I have 245/45 18s on mine and it just clears enough on monroe GT struts.. So maybe try a lower profile and see how it goes.. only other thing is im guessing the strut might be bent or the rim is buckled idk just a guess

They are all illegal unless fitted from the factory. As far as I am aware Porsche are the only ones to use spacers.

@OP
Are you running more neg camber than normal?
If its only just touching a little less camber may be just enough.

I have always found that 19's work best on VR/VS's with 235's as a max, I tried 245's didn't go so well

Got VE SSV's that have spent time on both my VS and my VR.

If your camber is set correctly you wont have any rubbing issues. I run 245/35/19's and theres ample clearance

and i dont run any spacers
