VR Berlina S2
G'day Red Lion boffins, hope you're having a great New Year !
Just bought the missus a VE Berlina Sedan (they're both very pretty!).
I want a better ride and presentation, as usual. Cheap as poss - $$$ are tight.
I have previously lowered a VK, VR & VS with Pedders kit.
Don't want to use after market stuff on this one, for insurance purposes.
What is my best alternative?
VE SS suspension?
How much? From where?

I would also like to add a spoiler - any ideas?

I know this is second nature to most of you and I look forward to your advice.

Deep apexes always, regards PTN.

insurance purposes?

I got my ve on pedders sports ryder springs... about an inch lower than standard. absolutely no problems with registration or insurance with my company car. aami has it nominated on the certifcate of currency, and because I satisfy even the proposed tough suspension changes it wont be an issue in the future. should be able to get it for $600 installed and alignment.

but if youre adament in sticking with standard issue stuff, there's always someone getting rid of the FE2 suspension online. its the standard issue 'sports suspension' from holden. drops the car less than 1/2 inch (virtually nothing), so that's why there's so many being sold off.

For spoilers, check eBay as there's sometimes some SS/SV6 ones up there for sale. They're easy to install too.

All you would really need to do to it is lower it and chuck some SSV or HSV rims on it and it will look a million bucks.

GL with whatever option you take :)
