VE Trim Removal (Kick Panel, Center Pilar)

Having some trouble removing these trims so i thought just ask here before I proceed

Driver Side kick panel


Center Base Trim

"You can see the crack in it of my failed attempt"

pull the rubber door seal off first, then find the clips, and with a blade screwdriver, lever the clips out. NEVER pull the trim.
