VE Ute SS A6
G'day all, first time poster so please be gentle.

I'm installing a set of Lightforce driving lights on a nudge bar on my ute, and have a couple of questions.

1. Do the VE's use positive or negative switching for their headlights?

2. Given the battery is behind the seats in the cab, where should I get my (+) power source from? I've seen there's two places I "could" use, the positive terminal running into the fuse box in the engine bay (not sure if that's a good idea) or possibly the one under the red cap which is presumably for jump starting cars. Normally I'd put it straight to the battery terminal, but not possible with the VE's.

Any thoughts?

Cheers.

Just did that today. Positive switching.

Power CCT (Heavy wire)

Battery – Fuse – Relay (Pin 87)
Relay (Pin 30) – Driving Lights – Chassis (Ground)

Switch CCT (Light wire)

To earth Relay (Pin 85)
Relay (Pin 86) – Headlight High Beam Pin (green and black wire)

Follow this and will work
