ve v6 hid lights flatten battery

hey is anyone else having issues with their hid headlights causing the battery to go flat

when I unlock the car the lights come on

is there anyway to stop that so they only come on when you want them to not automatic

as im sick of having to get a jump start

ive had the battery tested and it is in perfect condition

please help

You can change the settings so the lights don't come on when you unlock but that shouldn't be flattening your battery. You can also change the length of time they stay on.

My car automatically turns on the lights when i unlock at certain light, and it sits most of the day, but doesnt go flat.

But you can turn it off in the menu settings, button is on the steering wheel :

I took it to century batterys and also repco they did the free battery test both said it was good

literally if I unlock the car they come on i turn the lights off manually strait away about 4 times I cannot start the car it dead flat

no after market sounds just factory I did have subwoofer and amp but removed them thinking they were the problem
latest software?

The link i linked above is about the software reguarding battery drain.

Aparently there was a drainage problem in old VEs. Yours is a 2010 though so yours may have the update already.
Might pay to get it checked though? Do you service regularly through holden?

no the Holden guys here are absolute knobs, I have a local mechanic do it for me, oil I do myself tho
its due it 75000 km service at the moment :-(
is that update free to get done?
