ve walkinshaw scoop

Hi all just wanted to know what everyone thinks bout the walkinshaw scoops on ve commodores iv seen a few black HSV's with them and i think they look alright but still not sold on them, So post up what you think and any pics if you have one

Hi wez84 not a fan myself there too bulky for what they do seen a few around that they have the gts series 2 lookalike ones on several websites but they want over 2 grand for the modified steel bonnet ones would be good to see if anyone has done something different.

I'm not big on throwing things on a car that don't actually do anything. Look a bit naff to me, mate. Takes away from the nice clean lines from a profile view in particular.

Just my opinion but I reckon they look gayer than Mardi Gras when slapped on an SS/SSV. On a black HSV with the rest of the bulky bodykit it sort of ties in ok and doesn't stand out too much. They look very try hard on anything else IMO.

Agreed, I'm a big fan. IMO this is the only attractive looking scoop for the VE.

With the HDT scoop is there an air outlet or is it just looks iam presuming its vented where the windscreen is?

The blue meanie scoop isn't vented. All show. Same as the Walky one. Just stuck on. Don't see the point of it.

And those 'aero' wheels looked rubbish on the originals... Just look out of place now. Not a fan.

I have one problem with Wankinshaw and that is that it is Walkinshaw and you pay through the nose for it.
