VE Wheels on a VZ..

I would really like some genuines. Spending that sort of money solely on wheels, id feel like im cheating myself if i went with some replicas.

I had VE SS rims fitted to my VZ SV6 about 7 months ago. They were machined and fitted securely onto the hub, actually they fitted better than the original rims. Running 235/40R18 tyres and no problems at all. Used a slightly wider wheel nut, which was supplied by the Tyre fitter. They are fitted so well that unfortunately some halfwit decided to turn left from the right lane and plowed into the back of my car doing $10,000 worth of damage. Even though 3 rims were written off after the sideways hit into the gutter, there was no problems with the wheels, they were still solidly affixed to the hub, no cracking, just scratches. A strong rim considering the hit they took. I've attached a photo of the car.

The rims and tyres were bought from Tyrepower at Claremont Ave, Greenacre and I can't recommend these guys enough. Great job and great prices!

would the VE front wheel hubs and the diff fit onto the vz series. has anyone done that yet.

Here's mine. it's since had a tint and i have some calais tallights in the mail on their way to me
i just got the wheels machined and that was it, used my original wheel nuts.
i have 235/35/r19 on the front
and 255/35/r19 on the back.
ultra lows in the back and supers in the front.

i'm looking at getting this EXACT setup, i've got ssl's all round atm and getting ve ssv wheels in 2 days now, was wondering whether or not you had to roll your guards??

Nah haven't touched the guards... it scrubs a bit if I have people in the back but otherwise its fine.
