Vf front brembo with SSV wheels

Hi everyone, i have recenty upgraded my front brakes to brembo 4 piston with a 355mm rotors.
I have series 1 SSV wheels and was told by everyone that they will not clear.
Decied to take a risk, purchased calipers and rotors and did a test fit, surpirse, they do fit.
I will include few pictues.
Car is 2015 VF Sv6, with a SSV series 1 wheels, 19x8.5 offset is 48.

Good work. What's the minimum clearance between caliper and wheel?

There is about 2mm between spoke and a caliper, i will take few more pictures today.

Take it through a few bends at speed to check for wheel flex. Good on you if they safely fit. You may have just inflated the price of those wheels on the second hand market, if you don't get scraping.

Had them on for 3 weeks now, did bends, freeway, and no problems.
Lucky i got a set of these wheels early.

Good to hear it works!
Although I’m not terribly surprised, they’re the same dimensions as the SSVR front wheels aren’t they? It’s possible the spokes weren’t designed to clear, but on the other hand they probably required the wheel manufacturer to provide the same clearances for all their 19” wheels.

id be putting a 3mm hub centric spacer on just for a bit of clearance so you can clean them!!

Bowdens wheely clean does amazing job cleaning brake dust, and i dont mind moving a car a bit to clean caliper. Just my personal opinion but im not a fan of wheel spacers in any way shape or form.
