Hey guys picking up tomorrow R8 340 headers from a wagon.

Just curious how much would someone charge to fit these to my SSV sedan?

Also I'm sure it's been asked a few times but is it worth to upgrade? Will it be noticeable?

These are it. Hope they ain't missing any parts

Pretty easy to do yourself. Noticeable throttle response when i did it with a VE.

Cost more in labour than the parts. Anything is better than what's on there from factory. Purely a judgement call by you I'm afraid, but you won't be leaving in the dust anything that you wouldn't have already beaten with stock headers though so it's a sound thing.

Whack a pair or Magnaflow cats on there will they are out. The factory HSV cats are still quite restrictive.

Did headers and cats on my VF on weekend took about 6hrs all up(had to weld some 02 sockets on system as well)

think most shops with hoist etc would do it in 3>4hrs so probally $300 in labour

Those headers and cats on a VE-VF take about 1 1/2 hours. Very easy to do. Don't separate the headers and cats, unbolt the cat back and let it hang off the mounts, disconnect the O2 sensors, undo the steering coupling and move the shaft over to the right, then undo the header bolts and drop them out from the bottom. Fitting is the reverse. Use a thin smear of sensor safe sealant on the old gaskets and bolt them up.

what about plugs leads, they are a pain to do.

Apart from better sound, is it wrong to say that no power will be gained with the HSV headers without a tune?
