I bough sports pedals and need to install them on my SS. Is it possible that accelerator pedal replacememt will trigger any errors etc. given that some sensors would be in the pedal to determine position etc.
Anyone done this ?

i would think that if no power is turned on when pedal disconnected it shouldnt affect anything, when we do cruise controls and have to disconnect pedals we either disconnect battery or just dont turn key on and it should be fine, pedal shouldnt have any power to it when not in use

Done this on a 2013 SS, no issue at all.

hi Ron, what pedals did you get? The position of the accelerator & brake aren't great for me.

Just genuine ones as fitted to Redline.
My SS black came with standard rubber ones

Did this today. Replaced accelerator pedal and brake pedal pad in 10-15 min. Really easy.
