Over the weekend I went to get some pads for for my VF wagon. Both repco & supercheap say they are special order and don't stock them. VE and stocked but why no VF?? Anyone else find this strange?..

So they are... Wouldn't have picked that??? Bendix shows the vf pad as db2266 and the ve pad as db1765.

Surprised Rapeco didn't have them. DB2266 both general CT and Ultimate is listed as in stock at my local store for example.

From memory VF pads came with squealer and VE did not....
Therefore different part numbers.

However they are the same in terms of dimensions and will fit the calipers between VE and VF

According to DBA the pad thickness is the difference, being 16.9 for the 1765 and 16.2 forDB2266
Also interestingly if you put in a v8 calais, the part # recommendation is DB1765 and not 2266 even though its the same caliper.

I have a DBA DB1765 in my hand right now and it has no squealer
