Vg ute gearbox

Hello, I'm having trouble with my 1991 vg ute with putting it in gear the clutch cable is good and i have pressure on the clutch pedal, but still wont go into gear. Any suggestions on what could be the problem ?

I don't have a manual but my GMH book tells me you should have 170mm from the face of the pedal to the floor- otherwise adjust the cable to get this.

v6 models they have an adjustment spec where you measure pedal.....you can also check how much adjustment is left on cable from underneath.

They also like to break spring on clutch pedal makes it spongey & difficult to feel engagement mount.

If it's box or synchro issue make sure clutch pedal to floor then put in 2nd then push up into first...might work.
