vh 202 auto not coming outa 1st gear

hope not meh its going for a rwc soon soo ill let my mechanic deal with it by memory i think its the varijet carb that allows fuel to keep going into the motor after switched off or am i thinkin of a diff carb evan if it keeps spiting fuel in is that because of the mech fuel pump

its white and btw i replaced that vac modulator and my bloody trimatic still aint changing

Thick or light? I dont know much about trimatics, just that that is a common cause to way it wont go out of first.

its thin smoke i might just go find another trimatic unless its gonna costt me the same price to put the 5 speed in

still havnt figured it out iv replaced the vac modulator and still not workin and i checked for a vacumme leak still nothing and its not low on fluid evan when its hot so im looking in getting a replacement because its still not going into Low and 2nd when u try to select em any ideas
