Hi Guys, I'm running a ford 9 inch diff standard size but i'm wanting to see if anyone has been able to fit 15 60 255 tyres without any clearance issues. The car runs standard height rear springs has had the lower control arm lips trimmed and wheel arches rolled...

The choice is either 255's or 245's but bigger the better..

Kind Regards
Roberts

I doubt they will fit. I have a VL turbo diff in my VC with 15x8 Simmons and the widest tyre I can get to fit is 225/45x15. I have the guards rolled as far as they will go. The car is lowered but not excessively. What width rims do you have?

225 45 on a set of 8 inch rims? id love to see that... I've got 225 60 15's on a set of 15x7 rims right now.. I've also got 15x8 high pursuit rims which have 29.5 slicks that I use for drag racing but they rub...

The tyres are Nitto NT01 semi slicks and the optimum rim size is 8".

Not to mention it would be 1.5" taller than a 225.
Better check for availability of tyres as well.

NPreston - isn't the VL diff a tiny bit wider than the earlier ones?
I have 15x8 Simmons as well, and I run 225x60R15s, but another bloke I know runs 235s on the same wheels and said "I should have put 245s on there." - he has a 9" in that VH.
