Hi All,
Thought I'd share some info on my car build given that I've had so much trouble trying to find any real decent resources and content on putting a Chev into a VH Commodore..
Spec's as follows:
VH Commodore standard colour just resprayed by my best mate in two pac
426 Chev (3.875 crank 4.185 overbore for those wondering the odd displacement)
Race Pro 23 degree heads
Crane Solid Roller Cam
Custom 17/8 headers steppted to 2" 4-1 Collectors twin 3.5 exhaust.
Lots of other gear
Turbo 400 gearbox 5800 Converter Shop Stall
Two piece tailshaft
Ford 9" 31 Spline Billet Axles 4.11 diff gears True Trac rear end
I'll let the pictures do the talknig but if anyone would like any insight on how to set this up feel free to ping me..
