How in the hell do I turn the interior light on without opening the door?

The roller switch steering column side next to the headlight switch

It's been a while so forgive my memory if I'm wrong, but don't you pull the centre of the headlight switch outwards (or am I thinking of another model)?

Doesn't the roller switch just dim the instrument panel illumination?

Have wondered that myself too on sle except how to have interior light turned off when working on car with doors open lol.
(previous old alarms & dopey electricians working on mine means rewire/fix is in order)

Dimmer switch doesnt do much other than dim it seems.

Headlight switch feels like it pops up but not keen to mess with it in case it breaks...

From memory interior light is constant 12v power...cant remember if anything in car manual about it.

Can't pull the switch outwards.....That's the Kingswood era headlight switch.

The roller switch dims and brightens the instrument panel....By rolling it all the way upwards, it'll activate the interior light

The VB-VH headlight switch does pull out 3mm to turn the interior light(s) on.

And then they moved the headlight switch up onto the indicator stalk for the VL so...
