VH tail shaft rebuild

Hey all
I’m putting together a VH tail shaft but i have a spacer? Washer? Left over.

All I can find is a VB diagram but it’s doesn’t show anything about it.
Some kits online come with a new one, some don’t.

Does anyone know where it goes?
