- Run the front of the vehicle onto the car ramps and stop the engine.
- Raise the rear of the car with the jack and place stands under the rear axle.
- Using a wire brush and a cloth, clean around the engine sump drain plug, transmission and rear axle level plugs and all the grease nipples.
- Place a oil tray under the sump, remove the engine sump drain plug with the appropriate size ring spanner and allow the oil the completely drain.
- Once is has completely drained, install and firmly tighten the sump plug. Wipe around after tightening.
- Remove the oil filter with a filter removal tool and allow the residual engine oil to drain into the oil pan. Smear oil onto the gasket of the new filter and tighten the filter by hand as tight as you can and a small turn using the filter removal tool.
- Clean around everything again with a cloth, run engine and allow to get to normal operating temp and check for leaks.
