Vin code decoder

hello I brought a vt s pac a couple of months ago and I'm trying to find out if it is a s pac or just a clone, Ive decoded the numbers under the windscreen but that was not help, I found some thing on wikipedia (List of Holden vehicles by series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and its saying there should be a code I think near the radiator,Mine has the code has 8vtk69-715 and wikipedia saying 8VTK69 (opt. A9D) So I really don't know. Any help would be great. Thanks

The K stands for executive level (same as S) the 69 stands for sedan, check the article I linked for more details but I don't think you'll be able to tell from just the VIN

Thanks but I know what the vin is under the windscreen reads. I know there is another way to find out what model of Commodore it is.

I'm pretty sure there isn't from the VIN, as Executive, SS and S all show as the same luxury level.
You could go to a Holden dealer and ask them to check, as I'm pretty sure they can do it, but that would likely be your only option.
