    could someone dierect me to a website or otherwise tell me exactly what each digit in my vin means? 6h8vsk80hxl443804, thanks.

    I think I read some info about the vin number in the users manual for your car!!!, I'll see if I can dig it up ;)

    hi (6h8) is for holden (vs) is the model (k) stands for executive but is the same on s, ss, and other base configurations (L) is for berlina and an (x) is for calais but back to your number (80) tells me its a ute and (h) means its a v6 (x) is the year code that by my calculations if correct is a 2000 build and (L) says what plant it was built at (443804) is your vehicles unique identification number these last six digits are different to all others. The first 10 will match every other 2000 vs holden ute with a v6 and built at the same plant

    got a 97 calais showing vin no.-6t91nvs05v6jpl001 looks a bit srtange to me. any ideas?
