VK Heater / Aircon / Vacuum Line Questions

Hi,

I can't seem to find a heater tap for my VK on ebay. I was wondering if someone could get me a part number or a picture so I can try to find a universal.

Currently someone has done a hell dodgey and fitted a plumbing tap so the heat is either on or off. I figure the heater tap is vacuum operated on this model.

nope, still has a cable for heater tap in vk-vl
i've put a vk control panel into my vb, only thing i have to alter is the end of the cable for the heater tap
if i can't dig out my spare heater box in time, vkberlina should be able to help you. (afterall i was supposed to give him the heater box i have but accidently gave him a vl one hehe)

I got a universal 2 way tap that's cable operated...just couldn't see a cable on the firewall anywhere. Might have to have a look behind the heater control unit.

4 screws hold the tap onto the inlet pipe of the heater box under the dash. doesn't pass through the firewall

Cool that should explain it....really need a workshop manual lol
